Top of the Heap Tuesday – Clean and Clear Persa Gel

6 Oct

Ladies and gents…It’s that time of the week again…

May I have a drumroll please?

Wif's Zit Zapper

Wif's Zit Zapper

Introducing Clean and Clear’s Persa Gel 10…  murderer of acne, savior of smooth skin.

This week’s top of the heap also of utmost importance because wif is still dedicated to helping anyone suffering with the plague acne.  Wif totally empathizes and hopes you’ll give this papuleassassin a try.  You can pick up a  1 oz. tube [lasts wif about 4 month] for under $5 at just about any drug/grocery store…  and that’s a darn deal considering in wif’s experience this stuff works far better than the dang dermotologist chemicals that wif tried for years.  Oh and what did she get for her effort?  Burning, peeling, PIMPLY skin.  Rarrrggghhh.  Wif hasn’t had any issues with this type of thing with the persa gel and yet it still prevents and treats the beastly buggers.

Perks: Goes on clear, doesn’t stink, nice consistency and very inexpensive & effective.

Downers: More effective in prevention than treatment, won’t always dry up a new bump overnight.

Plus, good ol’ Paula Begoun recommends persa gel for recession-proof acne-beating.

Have any of you tried this good stuff – what do ya think?

UPDATE: January 26th, 2010 – for wif skin photos (not nearly as risque as it sounds) check out this post about an unrelated topic.

UPDATE #2: July 2010 – I’m changing to the acne.org regimen!
